Thanks for answering back! I continue to attend a bereavement group at my church (Covid interruption) hoping to help where I can. I will forward this site to our Group of women.

I’m not sure you know just how much this confirmed my feelings, regrets, longings, fears, anxieties and tears. Because I’ve come out of the tunnel that everything you speak about was in. Only as I lived it, I never named any of it. I just existed. Reading this has awakened me that I’m awake!!!

Every word of it. Every word. I can say this because my journey is 6 years old. Had I read this a year out, it would’ve sounded like a useless pep talk. Reading this I have realized that , hell, I’ve done GOOD!!! I’ve arrived at each of these places but no one has brought it to my attention .I was just – living, pushing and surviving!!! I think I’m proud of myself right now! And you know what? I used to hate the word widow. Not today! It’s my superpower!! My husband would be so proud of me!!!
