Several suggestions of where to look for documents, account information and policy records is sprinkled throughout the course. For example, in Section 4: Assess Your Cash Flow, you will find instructions for locating a lost life insurance policy online.

This course offers suggestions on how to organize everything in a binder with section tabs. Checklists for documents, bills, and accounts are included in related sections with instructions on how and when to add copies to your binder. Every section also includes a final checklist of items to review/complete so you can keep track of your progress. A blank notes document gives you the option of jotting down additional notes for further organization.

The sections that include information on government or military benefits or taxes and insurance only apply to those living in the United States. However, I have received feedback from widows living outside the United States who still found plenty of value in the majority of the resources. The planners, trackers and templates in the guide, including the bonus downloads, are useful for anyone regardless of geographic location.
